Please make sure your child has headphones or earbuds at school to use throughout the whole year! Students will keep these at school.
Please make sure you child has his/her planner everyday in their binder. We write in these daily at school.

Picture Day: Thursday, September 23
-3rd Grade Reading: Please read 20+ minutes
-4th Grade Reading: Please read 30+ minutes
-3rd Grade Math Homework:
Please ask your child to share with you the Xtramath letter that was sent home on Friday, We will be using Xtramath this year as a tool to help us grow our fact fluency. Please enroll your student into Xtramath by Tuesday. Many students are enrolled. Have them take the practice test with Mr. C.

-4th Grade Math Homework:
HR 1-3 and HR 1-4 (assigned Monday and due Wednesday) Please ask your child about the fact tests we took in class last week and today. They are meant to inform you of where your child is at. By May/June, we want to be answering 100 facts in five minutes. Ask your child how long it took he/she for addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. They have the results in their green folders!
Friends and Family Letter: Students can bring in 1-2 pictures for our friends and family board over the next few weeks!
-Your child will keep the planner in the blue taken home folder that lives in the binder . This is a temporary planner, and we expect our new ones to arrive soon. Please ask your child to show you his/her planner daily. You can initial it to show us that you have read it and understand the expectations for that day.
