We hope you had a wonderful Labor Day with your friends and family!

Today we spent time talking about kindness and how a kind person shows concern for the feelings of others and is helpful and generous.    Ask your child what it means to show kindness in our school community and how he/she plans to show kindness to others on the playground, in the cafe and throughout our school campus daily!  Students went to Spanish and the Media Center today.

Thank you for checking our daily blog! We will continue to post homework and updates here rather than sending emails.

***ATTENTION FOURTH GRADERS:  If your family checked out a Chromebook for you last year, please bring it in!  WE ARE KEEPING OUR CHROMEBOOKS IN THE ROOM THIS YEAR!

Please make sure your child has headphones or earbuds at school to use throughout the whole year!

-Please send in healthy snacks for the morning.  Kids don't eat lunch until 12:05pm.

Friends and Family Letter:  Students can bring in 1-3 pictures for our friends and family board over the next few weeks!

-Please make sure your child gets a zippered binder ASAP.

-Your child will keep the planner in the blue taken home folder that  lives in the binder .  This one will be used for the month and then we expect our new ones to arrive.  Please ask your child to show you his/her planner daily.  You can initial it to show us that you have read it and understand the expectations for that day.

-HOMEWORK:  The Writer's Notebook is due tomorrow (Wednesday, September 8th).  Please help your child complete this assignment.

-Typical Homework:  Your child is expected to read daily at home.  Any reading material that you approve is okay with us.  We ask that third graders read for at least 20 minutes and fourth graders read for 30 minutes.  When math gets going, you will see almost daily homework from that class.

  • PLEASE CHECK YOUR CHILD'S PLANNER AND THIS BLOG DAILY!
