We had a thrilling Thursday and gave BIG smiles for picture day!
It is officially fall so check the weather each day. We may have a mist of rain during our recess time so bring a light rain jacket.
We are learning so much in class and your kids are doing the best job! Ask your child about the 100 Dresses book we are reading, writing complete sentences, or Michigan's state symbols.
Please make sure your child has headphones or earbuds at school to use throughout the whole year! Students will keep these at school.
Please make sure you child has his/her planner everyday in their binder. We write in these daily at school.

-3rd Grade Math Homework:
HR 1-5 Third graders are bringing home their chrome book today so they can practice going onto xtramath using the chromebook. I suggest they boookmark and save their password. Students should practice this at home with a parent so it will be easy for them to do in school. Please return the chromebook tomorrow.
Please ask your child to share with you the Xtramath letter that was sent home on Friday. We will be using Xtramath this year as a tool to help us grow our fact fluency. Please enroll your student into Xtramath by Tuesday. Many students are enrolled. Have them take the practice test with Mr. C.

Friends and Family Letter:
Students can bring in 1-2 pictures for our friends and family board over the next few weeks!
-Your child will keep the planner in the blue taken home folder that lives in the binder . This is a temporary planner, and we expect our new ones to arrive soon. Please ask your child to show you his/her planner daily. You can initial it to show us that you have read it and understand the expectations for that day.
