Ask your child to show you his/her opinion essay on Google Classroom!  You have no idea how exciting it is to see third and fourth graders completing 5-paragraph essays!!

Our unit of study is opinion writing.  We are learning how to write a thesis statement, support it with evidence, and back it up with reasons.  We are writing our 5 paragraph essay which includes an introduction, 3 body paragraphs and a conclusion.  We will be revising these essays within the week.
