Please make sure your child has headphones or earbuds at school to use throughout the whole year! Students will keep these at school.

Please make sure you child has his/her planner everyday in their binder.  We write in these daily at school.

Thank you for checking our daily blog! We will continue to post homework and updates here rather than sending emails.

Friends and Family Letter:  Students can bring in 1-3 pictures for our friends and family board over the next few weeks!

-Your child will keep the planner in the blue taken home folder that  lives in the binder .  This one will be used for the month and then we expect our new ones to arrive.  Please ask your child to show you his/her planner daily.  You can initial it to show us that you have read it and understand the expectations for that day.

-HOMEWORK:  The Writer's Notebook was due today!!  We are going to be sharing them over the next few days.  They are so cute!

-3rd Grade Math Homework:  Today we took the unit 1 Pretest.  Study math facts for 10 or more minutes.  Focus on the facts that you need to practice the most.  This year we are trying to master multiplication and division facts 0-10 in addition to subtraction and addition facts.  You can practice any method that works best for you!

-4th Grade Math Homework:  Study math facts for ten or more minutes.  Try to focus on facts you need the most practice on.  This year we are trying to master addition, subtraction, multiplication and division facts through 12.  You get to choose how you learn them!

-Typical Homework:  Your child is expected to read daily at home.  Any reading material that you approve is okay with us.  We ask that third graders read for at least 20 minutes and fourth graders read for 30 minutes.  When math gets going next week, you will see almost daily homework from that class.
