Your kids made our first week of school the best!!! We adore them and can’t wait for another amazing
week!
If your child has not brought in a WATER BOTTLE to keep here
or one that can go back and forth, please help him/her remember to pack one for
tomorrow!
We have a Planner Scavenger Hunt assignment out right now. Please go over it with your child and have it
returned by Monday if it has not been done already.
Your child is also brought home a Writer’s Notebook Assignment
that he/she can tell you about. This is
also due Monday!
Ask your child about the “Friends and Family Board” optional
assignment! This can be brought in at
any time!
Please have your child bring 1-2 chapter books to school each
day/week for DEAR time (Drop Everything and Read).
Every night we have reading homework. This can be done in any form. Your child can read on his/her own, out loud
to you, or listen while you read. Please
allow your child to read something of interest to him/her during this time to
make it the most meaningful for them!
3rd Grade Reading Homework: 20 minutes
4th Grade Reading Homework: 30 minutes
Math: We loved the math
games. They are all ready to come back to
you now for practice and fun at home!
If your family has not yet finished reading, “Save Me A Seat,”
please do so ASAP as we will talk about this as a school community all
year!
