 This month we are focused on the character trait of empathy.  Please ask your child how he/she shows empathy daily at BCS!

-What is the main idea of the story? What supporting details can you share to support the main idea?

-What can you infer about Matt?

-3rd Grade Reading:  Please read 20+ minutes

Test  in class March 4, 2022 

Students wrote the words and the WW study codes in their planner on  and these can be printed at home from Power Spelling. We will work on the online Savvas (Schoology) assignment in class throughout this week.  Students who do not should finish by Friday can complete this at home.  Students will practice the words with games on Power Spelling.   

(Word Study Codes: WW - Within Word, SA - Syllables and Affixes and DR - Derivational Relations) Your child will know their list/code:

-3rd Grade Math Homework:  

Update: We will have our test on Thursday!

-Study for 15 minutes to prepare for you test.

Keep volume 1 journal at home and make sure you have  volume 2 in your binder.  Students received volume 2 today!

-Take all online tests if you did not finish in class

 I taught the students how to find elapsed time using a time line.  Ask your child to share this strategy with you!  They have samples in their journals.  


- Xtramath: 3 times a week

Three Times per week:  Complete a session with Mr. C until he says "You're Done!" You can complete more than one session by going out and signing back in again.
