Monday, October 15

We built our Tower Garden today with our 5/6 buddies!

Halloween (Oct. 31st) is a 1/2 day (11:30am dismissal) and the classroom Halloween party! The parade of costumes will start around 10:10am outside, unless raining, with the 3/4 classes. Followed by the class party around 10:30am in the Science Lab in the 100 hall.  Party will end at 11:15 am with dismissal from school at 11:30 am.  A HUGE Thank You to all the parents that have volunteered to help make this party awesome!

Costume guidelines for Halloween-
 — No masks that cover the face
 — no blood-like makeup, no weapons, no evil, scary, or horror characters

Please support the BCS Destination Imagination (DI) Program by submitting one of your family’s favorite recipes at this link: https://goo.gl/forms/smlrpnB1id9NPSvv2 .

The recipes will be collated and made into a beautiful spiral bound edition of the One and Only BCS Community Cookbook. These books will be on sale by late fall, or you can preorder your copy when you submit a recipe! We’re looking for fun recipes from BCS students, families and staff members. We look forward to cooking and eating all of your family favorites!
