Week of December 9-13, 2024

⛄HAPPY DECEMBER!⛄ As the cold weather approaches, we would like to stress the importance of students wearing the appropriate winter outerwear. Our goal is to have students go outside for recess whenever possible. Students should come to school wearing a winter jacket, gloves, scarves, hat, etc.🥊

This holiday season, we are partnering with Mittens for Detroit to help provide good quality gloves and mittens for kids in Detroit. There will be a bin in the front office to collect gloves and mittens. Students will be writing notes to kids during our holiday party on December 20th to accompany each pair of mittens.

We believe that creating an environment where kindness flourishes is essential for our students’ growth and well-being. To support this, we are encouraging students to engage in acts of kindness, whether big or small. We invite you to discuss with your children the importance of treating others with compassion and empathy.

The students of rooms 204 and 206 value the 3 Es in our classrooms....Education, Each Other, and our Environment!
