While it is so strange to still be learning at home, we do love hearing about all that you are doing and creating! So many of you have really turned this time at home into a "Genius Hour" for things you want to learn about or need to work on. We are truly quite proud of you! Please keep sharing and updating us. We truly love your emails and love seeing all the work you are doing online!!!
Please check out the ¾ Google Classroom that our ¾ team of teachers has continued working on for you. There are so many amazing opportunities but we don’t want you to be overwhelmed. Here are some suggestions that you might enjoy working on this week:
- Language Arts: Alaska became our 49th state...
- Science: Earth Science Exploration
- Social Studies: Map Your Way to Success
- Math: practice facts, play a math game on Matific, spend time on Compass or choose any math activities from Google Classroom.
Fun Fact:
Can you believe it? It was on this day back in 1867 that the U.S. bought Alaska from the Russians at the bargain price of 2¢ an acre. If you've never taken the time to study where Alaska is on a map, it's really quite interesting!
