We had a Marvelous Monday! Today we read chapter 1 of our community read. Ask your child to summarize chapter one for you. What predictions can they make for chapter 2? Get ready for a terrific Tuesday!

Homework:
***Does your child have headphones or earbuds at school? Please ask and be sure to send in a pair that can stay at school all year!
3rd graders - Read 20 mins (minimum) each night
4th graders - Read 30 mins (minimum) each night
(Bring in a chapter book to read in class. You will keep
your book inside your binder)
Language Arts:
All decorated Writer's Notebooks were due last week
Students will
continue to present their writer’s notebook to the class.
Math:
4th Grade – Homework and Remembering (H/R) 1-1
3rd grade - Homework and Remembering (H/R) 1-1
Today in class we complete journal pages (big journal) 5-6 together as a class. Ask your child to show you his/her completed work.
Today third and fourth grade students received their math journal and homework and remembering
journal. These will travel to school and home in the binder.
Students should have a safe place in the binder to store these. We will
use these in class every day. Students will need to bring a crayon and
pencil to math class.
4th graders - Read 30 mins (minimum) each night
